Save Sent item to Drop down  "Grayed Out"

When i am sending an email from my email account the "Save Sent Item to" dropdown box that is found under on the "Options" ribbon is selectable and i am able to change the default save location.

The problem i am experiencing however is when attempting to do the same action when sending from a Shared Mailbox, The issue i am receiving is the "Save Sent Item to" Drop down window is now Grayed out and i cannot change the save location of the email.

Hi,

This is the expected behavior. Outlook doesn't support the "Save Sent Item to" option for shared mailboxes.

To work around this issue, you need full access permissions on the shared mailbox, and then you can add the shared mailbox as additional exchange account (under File > Account Settings > Account settings > New...). In this way, the "Save Sent Item to" option should work.

Slightly annoying as it seems that i do not have "Full Access Permissions" to the shared mailbox so cannot leverage your workaround.
